Santa hits the road
I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this was my absolute favorite painting to do out of all the other painting projects in this class. I love the colors, the linework, and I personally think a lot of the finer details came out pretty great. The linework was done by oil paint sharpies of various thicknesses, most of it was free hand and I used a ruler for all of the long straight lines. The only thing I that I’d wish I could have done differently is shorten the hood of the car in the final painting as I accidentally made it just a little too long, which then resulted in the door being shorter than on the original image, but that is the one and only problem I have with it as a whole. Apart from that, I really love how it turned out and will be using it for the first Pagoda Card Company Christmas card if I have enough time.
